Sharon was a 1957 Vallejo High School graduate who started her career as a cosmetologist and later finished her career working
20 years for the City of Vallejo Finance Department. After Sharron retired she moved to Minden, Nevada with her husband,
where she has spent the past 20 years residing.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Stephen McKenzie, her children, Sheryl Houghton, Dick Houghton, Rick Houghton
and Angela Salvato and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded by the death of her father,
Kenneth Adams, mother Elaine Adams and Great Grandmother, Hazel Webb.
Sharon was a devoted wife and a loving mother & grandmother. She never forgot a birthday or holiday and always made them special.
She cherished the time she got to spend with her children and grandchildren. She loved to go on cruises with her husband; she loved cats,
butterflies and humming birds and she loved to dance like no one was watching! She will be missed and always in our hearts.
A special thanks to Hospice for their assistance caring for her and making it a little easier for the family.
Arrangements under the direction of FitzHenry's Funeral Home, Carson City, NV.
